This is another feather in the GH cap. We still face challenges internally with fixing processes....we always will have them. But now its ok to face them, question them, and not bury them. Thats a big culture change...one that hasn't gotten through to everyone yet. But check back in 5, 10, 15 years. I'm encouraged!

I very much appreciate GHC's online services and use them frequently.

However, I am also frequently frustrated in signing on. Whether I make a mistake in my password or the site has a glitch, it often refuses my attempt and after 3 or 4 tries (not 5) it locks my account. There is no offer of a hint to suggest my password and I have to dream up a new one. It won't accept one I may have used years ago. I'm running out of ideas and sometimes threaten to quit using the service, but that's almost impossible.

Also, the site could be greatly speeded up with the use of drop-downs. Every time I click on a choice--messages, lab results, etc.--I have to wait for the whole screen to load to the new choice, where drop-downs could be instantaneous. I suggest an expert website designer review the whole site and make appropriate improvements.

I think you are wrong in the "historic" legislation. It is not only unconstitutional, despite what Rep. Inslee and the other Democratic delegation says, but a government health care system, that is not "reform", will break this country.

Private sector should police their own health care. Who do you think is going to pay for this? Not me or my family. I pray the suits or a new congress defeat this legislation or de-funds it. The people of this country said NO, but the dictator we have in the White House said yes. That speaks volumes of how our government wants to defraud us with this type legislation.

Group Health should work to expand the purchasing cooperative to all prescription medicine for all health providers. When I and my elderly and young friends compare the prices for medicine I get through GH with what they pay, they are shocked.

This was interesting and supports that the approaches to stress can be multiple. I am finding more and more that deep breathing in a calm environment is very therapeutic. Deep breathing is equally helpful to calm stress and focus.

Good article.

I was a GHC employee for over 20 years and I am very excited to see this Health Care bill pass. And overly excited about GHC stepping up to agree with the President that it is time! Yes it will be a challenge, but thank you GHC for the willingness and optimism during this transition. Maybe I can convince my employer to offer GHC coverage again in the near future. Bless you!

Thank you for the report and thank the doctors for their humanitarian efforts.

We have seen photos and reports from those who were there during and immediately following the quake:
The stacks of relief supplies at the airport ringed by soldiers, the Navy ships surrounding the island, soldiers guarding empty buildings while people dig into the rubble with their bare hands. Bodies everywhere. The presence of 9,000 UN troops and the US sends in another 12,000 troops.

We find the US government response to the disaster shameful and disastrous.
